Continuing Education

Every two years CT Real Estate brokers and agents must complete twelve (12) hours of continuing education to renew their CT real estate licenses. The 12 hours includes mandatory and elective course requirements.

Continuing Education cycle deadlines occur in the years ending in EVEN numbers

The 2024-2026 Continuing Education (CE) cycle has a new mandatory course, "CT Real Estate License Law". The class provides an excellent overview on the new laws which went into effect on 4/1/24. CE must be completed 90 days prior to Real Estate license expiration on the even numbered years.

The current CE cycle began on 9/1/2024 for Brokers and on 3/1/2024 for Salespersons, only courses taken after those dates count toward the current cycle. The deadline for CE completion is 8/31/2026 for Brokers and 2/28/2026 for Salespersons.
